Artwave Lewes 2012 - A Sneak preview!

Today I was thrilled to bits to go to Susan's house in Swanborough, Lewes to set up my artwork for the Artwave festival.
It is the loveliest location with a truly beautiful selection of artwork set in this fantastic house and garden with great views.
It will hard not to purchase a few pieces of art here, but I will definitely be eating a few pieces of cakes with a cup of tea in the garden at least!

Here is a sneak peak at  the artwork Susan has spent the last year or so selecting to create a great show.

Hastings Museum & Art Gallery

Fancy a visit to Hastings? A walk on the sea front, fish and chips ... and a bit of art and culture ?
Go on, come along to the Hastings Museum and Art Gallery!
You've got till the 17th of June to admire a varied selection of maps from the Museum's collection which will be on display, including Samuel Cant's 1746 Survey of Hastings, and William Gant's 1852 Survey.
I have been selected to take part in this exhibition of Historic Maps and Contemporary Map Art along with seventeen artists who also use cartography for inspiration in their artwork.
I have designed a paper cut for Hastings for this exhibition, but can't show you until saturday when the exhibition will open ....
or ... you could come to the Private View on Friday, from 6-8pm when the exhibition will be officially opened, there will be live music by The Lucky Ones.

but I cannot resist! another one of my sneak peaks !!!!
